A concert by the artist Wasfi Al-Maasarani

The Human Foundation and Development is honoured to invite you to attend a concert by the artist Wasfi Al-Maasarani.

Wasfi is a singer, musician, and researcher who does not specialize in existential philosophy and logic and is interested in cosmic physics. He excelled in music since his childhood. At the age of fourteen, he was ranked first in the Syrian Republic as the best singer and pianist. He specialized in the field of computer engineering and held several jobs in his specialty in different countries, then recently devoted himself to singing and composing. He moved between Syria, the Czech Republic, and America, and he composed Western and Eastern musical works. His concerts exceeded 100 concerts around the world, and he composed and sang in California the song for the Oscar-nominated movie City of Ghost with American director Matthew Heineman. He also participated in composing the soundtracks for several documentaries with Al Jazeera. Wasfi has a humanistic, spiritual direction that he expresses through his music and lyrical choices.

This will be on Saturday, June 1st , 2024, at 7 p.m., at the headquarters of the Human Foundation and Development.
